Ivan Bakran
Ivan Bakran (1952) is a guitarist, pedagogue and composer from Zagreb. He has been a long-time guitar teacher at the Krško Music School, where he has proven himself as an excellent mentor to his students - competitors, as his students have won numerous awards and recognitions.
At the Classical Guitar Novelties Competition held in Omiš in 2012, Bakran's Rondino from Sonatina for Guitar won 3rd prize. His selected compositions were published in the anthologies of Croatian guitar pedagogues, edited by Professor Darko Petrinjak, in 2014, 2017 and 2026. The composition "Pesmica za Dašo" was selected as a compulsory piece in the 1a. category of the TEMSIG national competition in the school year 2017/2018.
