David Dyakov is an internationally acclaimed classical guitarist with a remarkable career spanning over 24 years. With more than 25 first prizes in prestigious competitions, including the 1st prize at the Koblenz International Guitar Competition, 1st prize at the Forum Gitarre Wien in Austria, and 1st prize at the Deajong International Guitar Competition in South Korea, David has established himself as a leading figure in the world of classical guitar.
He has performed over 400 solo concerts across Europe and Asia, including notable venues in Italy, Spain, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Austria, and throughout Eastern Europe, as well as in China and South Korea.
His talent as a soloist has also led him to collaborate with renowned orchestras, including the Sofia Philharmonic, Athens Symphony Orchestra, Montenegro Radio Orchestra, and the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, contributing to over 40 concerts as a featured soloist.
David has graced the stages of prestigious festivals such as the ‘’Musica Mundi’’ Festival in Belgium, ‘’die Schlosskonzerte’’, and the ‘’Rheingau Musikfestival’’ in Germany.
In 2011, he was awarded "Musician of the Year" in Bulgaria by a prominent classical music radio, recognizing his significant contributions to the genre. As the first chairman of the Cologne Guitar Society, David is committed to promoting the art of guitar performance and education in Germany. He has transcribed numerous Baroque, Classical, and Romantic pieces for guitar, enriching the repertoire available to guitarists worldwide.
Currently, David is in the process of publishing a book featuring unique exercises for classical guitar, showcasing his innovative approach to guitar pedagogy.
